UPDATE: the information below is correct of right now, but the government of Dominica anticipates changing the laws as of March 1st, 2013 so that non-Dominica residents can come and get married within one day. We will post updated information as it becomes available.
Getting through Dominica’s bureaucracy to arrange your marriage license requires arriving 2-3 days in advance and the services of a wedding consultant, which we can help you arrange. Because of the added bureaucratic time for a Dominica wedding, consideration should be given to doing a legal courthouse wedding in the US or Canada (or the UK) and then holding a ceremony and celebration in Dominica.
